Our first step is a quick consultation call to discuss your business and the project details. This is a great way to get to know each other, and for you to ask any questions about the process.
I’ll follow up on our chat by sending you a quote and an invoice for the 50% deposit along with a project start date. Once everything has been agreed you’ll receive my brand questionnaire. This asks basic questions about your brand, clients, competitors and any preferences you may have.
Pinterest is a great tool for research. At this point I’ll send you an invitation to a shared board where you can start pinning some inspiration or elements that you like.
STEP TWO
Colour Pallets & mood board
This is one of my favourite parts! From your answers on the questionnaire and visuals from your Pinterest board, I create a first draft mood board of the visual direction for your brand. Using images, colours and ideas for your new branding.
This helps you see visually what your brands personality could look like. I usually go through one revision of this, it’s great to refine this as much a possible until your 100% happy!

STEP THREE
Logo design & variations
Using the mood board as a visual guide, the next step for me is sketching out ideas. I then pick the two strongest logos and develop them individually. Once you’ve reviewed them both there are two revisions until you are happy with the final design.
After this is signed off I create two variations of your logo, depending on where you will be using it. For example, this could be a different colour, or without a tagline.
Following this a brand ‘submark’ gets created. This is either a ‘stamp’ or an ‘icon’ that goes alongside your main logo. The submark can be used for social media profile’s, letterheads of website favicons.
If your needing extra logo variations outside what is listed above, this is completely fine but would be charged for additionally.
STEP FOUR
Style guide & files
Once all the logo variations are finalised, I will send you over a ‘brand board’ that displays all of your branding elements, so they signed off.
Then your Brand Style Guide will be created which will contain details and codes of all your colours. I will also make typography suggestions for your website and any marketing collateral.
Once the final project balance has been paid, you’ll receive all the final files, so you’ll have everything you need when launching your brand!
